The Amazon Adapt Program

Amazon Adapt is a program designed to offer coverage solutions for business gaps which may occur due to extended leave of absence (parental, medical) or unexpected account transitions or gaps in business needs. arenaflex deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent that ensures customers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Advertising, uninterrupted. The program ensures that the high bar for customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment is maintained during these coverage gaps.

Key Responsibilities

As an Adapt Principal Global Client Lead (AE/ADM) within arenaflex's Global Customer Development organization, you'll serve as the client partner to one of our large, strategic advertisers. You'll work directly with the client's global media & brand teams, including VP-level and up to the global CMO. A key deliverable for this role is the annual Joint Business Plan (JBP) – signed into a global advertiser agreement – that structures our relationship. These are very large and highly complex (20+ locales, 10+ global brands, 10+ ad products) relationships that are now growing into cross-enterprise engagements. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a customer-led strategy for growth for a Holding Company and its agencies at a global level or a Global Direct Advertiser Agreement, as relevant
  • Building and managing a detailed engagement strategy to C-Level
  • Developing commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded, programmatic and biddable products
  • Leading education and enablement of key agency/advertiser functions, including delivery of org-wide customer events
  • Identifying opportunities for agency/advertiser collaboration around large-scale creative solutions – including proactive engagement with creative agencies
  • Liaising with in-locale AE or ADM teams to identify transformative opportunities for partnerships offered by arenaflex's product development roadmap

Essential Qualifications

* 10+ years of digital ad sales experience

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in business development working with media agencies and/or global advertisers
  • Ability to build strong senior relationships both internally and externally very quickly
  • Strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management with Global C-level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
  • This is a client-facing role and requires up to 30% global travel as needed or 2x per month on average

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with Big 6 Holding Companies and/or global advertisers

  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue in a client-facing role
  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry and current trends
  • Experience with programmatic and ad tech solutions
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
