Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and lead our data pipeline development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our data science team to integrate data from various sources, ensure data quality and accessibility, and develop data models that support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that integrate data from various sources, including cloud-based platforms, Hadoop, and relational databases.

• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing.
• Collaborate with the data science team to integrate data and develop calculations and models that inform business decisions.
• Develop data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients.
• Ensure data quality and accessibility by incorporating data from various sources and adhering to data quality and openness standards.
• Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions.
• Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach given the requirements of the model or use case.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data pipeline development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other significant programming languages.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark.

• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its data management challenges.
