Job Overview

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely solutions that exceed their expectations. As a Customer Care Specialist II, you will be responsible for handling incoming phone, email, and chat contacts, as well as processing orders, tracking customer packages, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts
  • Provide customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Process orders and enter data into our order entry system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Track customer packages and respond to related inquiries or concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 6+ months of experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and adaptability in response to changing situations
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance, ensuring seamless resolution of technical problems
  • Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate; flexibility is essential during peak times
  • A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace that meets our technical requirements, including wired, high-speed Internet, a modem or router with an Ethernet port, and a thin client that can connect directly (no satellite Internet or Wi-Fi)
  • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turning on the camera when requested by leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in a self-directed setting
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools used in customer service
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
