Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
  • Helping to create and convey results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and stakeholders.
  • Assisting in examining ad-hoc requests arising from emerging support issues and providing insightful answers to enable Senior Leadership to make informed business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
  • Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant objectives of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
  • Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, outlining the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Recognizing irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the Group.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and techniques by observing for patterns and errors.
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • May perform other work assignments as directed by Group Leader.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • An involved ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with precision and accuracy.
  • The capacity to effectively listen, comprehend, and communicate thoughts and present written, verbal, or presentation-based information to diverse audiences.
  • The ability to review business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
  • The capacity to identify the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure support/group-oriented environment.
  • Ability to focus on responsibilities effectively and be an autonomous problem-solver.
  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
