Group Sales Manager – Large Market

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport is a premier hotel that combines natural beauty with modern amenities. The Group Sales Manager – Large Market is responsible for selling hotel services, managing accounts, and generating new business while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Selling guest rooms, meeting space, food and beverage and other Hyatt services to customer groups
  • Managing accounts
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Soliciting and generating new business
  • Preparing and presenting effective proposals
  • Maintaining well organized documentation and reports
  • Utilizing Hyatt systems
  • Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
  • Participate in, and may lead, event meetings, sales and other staff meetings
  • Work as a team member with the sales and event staff
  • In close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff

Skills

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales experience
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Must have selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
