Job Overview and Responsibilities As an Analyst II, Quality Engineer at Walmart, you will play a critical role in our engineering division, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting root cause analysis to improve processes in a data-driven manner Analyzing data to create valuable tools and provide key metrics for business improvement Building relationships with stakeholders to identify top loss areas and recognize causes Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful delivery Working with project managers to implement newly deployed tools and technologies Providing leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration Developing and implementing new ideas and solutions to drive business growth and improvement Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in quality engineering and analysis, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The following qualifications are essential: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma Ability to create Cycle Stream Graphs and Interaction Stream Graphs SQL experience, with the ability to provide analysis and recommendations for system improvements Proficiency in BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, and Informix Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and other data visualization tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Asana Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java Experience with data science and machine learning techniques, such as predictive modeling or natural language processing Certification in quality engineering or a related field, such as CQE or CMQ/OE Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
