Hybrid Gas Survey Technician
Sparus Holdings is currently hiring for a full-time Hybrid Gas Survey Technician position. The role involves surveying natural gas pipelines and operating the Advanced Mobile Leak Detection vehicle, with responsibilities including driving, leak detection, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Responsibilities
- All Field Technicians are Required to successfully pass all Operator Qualification training, and testing pertaining to meter work/meter reading to proceed with employment
- Must be flexible to travel up to 75% of the time including occasional weekends may be required
- Ability to fly/drive anywhere in the U.S
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot technology as needed
- Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions
- Adhere to all safety and quality policies and procedures
- Will need to be comfortable driving survey vehicle at 15mph for 4 hours straight in between breaks
- Ability to sit and drive 8 hours per day
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
- Carry a minimum of 20 lbs. of equipment
- Be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned
- Observes and follows all company/client procedures
- Possess excellent customer service/communication skills
- Be available for overtime (which may include weekends)
- Be comfortable using computers/technology
