[Remote] UI Developer Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Commvault is a leader in cyber resilience, providing customers with tools to recover from cyberattacks and keep data safe. They are seeking a motivated UI Developer Intern to assist in creating user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, collaborating closely with design and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups and wireframes into clean, functional code
- Troubleshoot and debug UI issues, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Contribute to the optimization of application performance and responsiveness
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with a front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be available to work from Tuesday May 26th until Friday August 7th
- A portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing personal projects is a plus
