Job Duties

As an Office Technician - MLTC Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Office Support Work: Provide administrative support to the MLTC team, including filing, sorting, and opening mail.
  • Data Entry: Enter information contained on medical and NFOCUS claim forms, identifying and correcting errors, and maintaining a minimum data entry rate of 8000 kph with 95% accuracy.
  • Medical Claim Form Review: Review medical claim forms for missing or incomplete data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Customer Service: Answer and resolve inbound calls regarding the status of submitted claims, client eligibility, and verifying provider payments, using multiple mainframe computers.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using Enterprise One, NFOCUS, MMIS, OnBase, and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum Qualifications:

+ Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

+ At least one year of customer service experience, with experience working with Enterprise One, NFOCUS, MMIS, OnBase, and Microsoft Excel. + Internal and external customer service experience, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Data Entry Techniques: Knowledge of data entry techniques and procedures, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Proofreading Skills: Strong proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Abilities: Ability to file and retrieve materials using alphabetical and numerical filing systems, with the ability to perform repetitive work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
