Gift Processor

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts is the state’s leading provider of sexual and reproductive health care, recognized for education and research. The Gift Processor will ensure that every donation is processed with care, maintain donor records, and support audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process over 100,000 annual donations using Raiser’s Edge
  • Handle a variety of gift types including checks, credit cards, online gifts, payroll deductions, and more
  • Collaborate with Finance and Development teams to ensure accurate gift allocation and reporting
  • Generate and send acknowledgment letters and tribute cards
  • Maintain donor records and documentation for audits and internal reporting
  • Serve as the first point of contact for donor inquiries
  • Stay current on best practices in gift processing and charitable receipting

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in gift processing, data entry, or nonprofit administration
  • Familiarity with donor databases (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
