Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through various digital channels, including live chat, social media, and messaging apps
  • Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge
  • Working independently and as part of a dynamic team to achieve customer service goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, including live chat software, social media, and messaging apps
  • Reliable internet connectivity and a device able to access digital channels (phone, tablet, laptop)
  • Availability of 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of customer service software and platforms, including CRM systems and ticketing tools
