Operations Supervisor
Leavitt Machinery is one of the fastest growing material handling equipment dealerships in North America, and they are seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join their team. The Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily activities within the Operator Training Department, ensuring that all workflows align with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the responsibilities of the operations team
- Supervising, training, and evaluating the performance of assigned employees
- Assisting with hiring admin team members
- Designing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
- Evaluating and reporting on department metrics, and developing strategies to improve department performance
- Adhering to and executing departmental budgets
- Overseeing inventory needs and administration
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Skills
- 1-2 years of related operations work experience
- A post-secondary education in business, operations management, or a related field
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Outstanding organizational skills and coordination abilities
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
