arenaflex is seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Clerk to join our Central Fill and Mail Order team. As a remote data entry specialist, you will be responsible for updating patient profiles, entering prescription information, and preparing third-party insurance claims using our computerized system. You will also assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking prescription drugs and supplies, as well as over-the-counter products. As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk, you will be responsible for the following daily tasks and responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer, ensuring compliance with Provincial regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions by bringing stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision, following safety and security procedures.
- Prepare third-party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accounting entries using our computerized system.
- Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies, following product storage procedures and standards.
- Order, receive, tag, and stock over-the-counter products in accordance with merchandising plans for the department, creating product signs and performing over-the-counter roaming.
- Provide remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:- Education/Training: Completed a pharmacy diploma at a Community College.
- Licenses/Certifications: Completed a certification as required by the province where applicable.
- Experience: Candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given preference.
Required Experience
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:- Knowledge/Skills: Preferred knowledge of Kroll software.
