Business Development Executive (New York)

The Business Development Executive will focus on bringing in new business by managing the entire sales process, collaborating with partners, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • KPIs - Consistently achieve sales targets
  • Outreach - Field-based outreach, calling key decision-makers using phone, email & social touches with the goal of bringing on new business
  • Selling - Present, promote and sell products and services through product demos to prospective and existing partners
  • Sales Cycle - Managing the entire sales process from prospecting to close
  • Partnering - Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis with existing/potential partners in order to align our solutions to their needs and business objectives
  • Collaboration - Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless partner experience
  • Market Trends - Provide feedback about ongoing trends in the industry
  • Business Partnering - Serve as a lead point of contact for partners on all commercial activities

Skills

  • 1+ years of B2B sales with a track record of success
  • Experience in SaaS, online marketplaces, or payment platforms is highly desirable
  • You are a true hunter and relationship builder
  • You can multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • You are naturally curious and have a desire to continually grow and develop
  • You are adaptable, embrace change, and take initiative even in the face of ambiguity
  • You excel at building strong, authentic relationships through a friendly and empathetic approach
  • Fluency in English and another language (Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Cantonese, etc.)
  • Experience within the beauty and wellness industry
