United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is expanding into New York, offering an opportunity to join a growing organization focused on exceptional vascular care. The Clinical Technologist will support patient flow and engage in various clinical support tasks after a four-week training period.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow
  • Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness
  • Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked
  • Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality

Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
  • Certification: BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology
  • Due to state regulations, this role requires an LPN license issued by the State of New York. Compact or out-of-state licenses are not accepted
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
