As a Full Time 7-Day Live-In Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Traditions Home Health Services, your role will be multifaceted and fulfilling. You'll provide companionship and engaging conversation, helping to foster meaningful connections with your clients. Your duties will include assisting with exercise, walking, and range of motion (ROM) activities to promote mobility and well-being. You will deliver household support, including laundry, and create fresh, nutritious home-cooked meals tailored to each client's dietary restrictions. As a licensed CNA, you will also offer medication and appointment reminders, as well as transportation to outings and errands in your own vehicle. Engaging in stimulating activities will create joyful moments, while you assist with grooming, bathing, and toileting needs. Competently documenting your shift activities digitally frequently throughout the day is essential, and reporting any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team will ensure the highest standards of care. Enjoy vacation time, if needed every four months in 1-week increments, allowing you to recharge and return refreshed! To thrive as a Full Time 7-Day Live-In Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Traditions Home Health Services, certain essential skills and qualifications are required. Candidates must be a licensed CNA with a minimum of three years of experience in the home health care industry. It is crucial to possess exceptional communication skills to build rapport with clients and engage them in stimulating activities. Strong organizational abilities will help you efficiently manage household support tasks while adhering to individualized care plans. You should be adept at utilizing digital documentation tools on a smartphone for accurate record-keeping. Additionally, time management skills are vital for ensuring timely medication reminders, appointments, and other daily responsibilities. Empathy and a caring demeanor are also key attributes, allowing you to provide the compassionate support that our clients deserve. Requirements

  • licensed CNA
  • minimum of three years of experience in the home health care industry

  • trustworthiness and integrity
  • Ability to speak, comprehend, read and write the English language very clearly
  • Licensed CNA in good standing
  • CNA must reside in the New England area, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, and Maine
  • CNA must exude professionalism and confidence
  • 3+ years of experience working with 7-day live-in clients
  • Driver's license, reliable insured auto that you would be bringing with you to your case
  • Complete a criminal background check including providing 3 references pertaining to the position
  • Must be physically fit; live in CNA would be on their feet 12-15 hours per day, lifting, up and down stairs
  • CNA must own a smart phone (digital documentation in required)
