Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Quality Control Data Analyst to join our team in Texas, USA. As a Quality Control Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for driving a culture of excellence, efficiency, and innovation within our organization. You'll analyze data to identify trends and patterns, develop and present insights to stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities
* Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in convenient data collection, validation, and exploratory data analysis on data components
- Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
- Assist in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful answers to enable Senior Initiatives to make business decisions while adjusting existing task responsibilities
- Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant areas of the analysis to ease partner understanding
- Help create and disseminate specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/surveys and communicate findings to the team
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and strategies by observing for patterns and errors
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics)
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, quality control, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze large datasets with precision and care
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with data analysis software and tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL)
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics)
- Experience with data analysis software and tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with process improvement and quality control methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
- Strong understanding of business operations and processes
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
