What You'll Do

As a Customer Support Representative on our Veterinary Assistance team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Connecting directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
  • Examining and resolving issues to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and following up as necessary to resolve issues
  • Completing accurate and thorough data entry of solutions into arenaflex's healthcare software
  • Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Working with empathy, attention, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness to clients and partners alike
  • Working with a willingness to learn and grow. We share feedback, we receive input, and we work in a culture of being open to development. Many of our colleagues have grown into different roles and administrative positions, so having a long-term career center is great.
  • Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (sometimes other stations depending on the situation) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts, so being thorough is essential
  • Expecting a significant portion of the average business day will be outbound veterinary facility/client telephone contacts

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
  • Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and stand out enough to be noticed to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adjust to change as per the business needs of the organization
  • Adaptability to move schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • Ability to pass a personal background check
  • Willingness to appear for work, come on time, and be resolved to be your best.
