Summary

Objective The Compliance Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance-related training programs to ensure that employees understand and adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. This role works closely with the Quality Department, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Department, and HR, to identify training needs, create engaging learning materials, and track completion to support a culture of regulatory agency compliance and ethical conduct. Essential Functions

  • Develop and deliver training programs related to compliance, EHS, quality control, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or cyber security and information awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as OSHA, EPA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Stellar Energy policies and practices.
  • Monitor and report training completion and effectiveness using learning management systems (LMS).
  • Design and update learning materials such as e-learning modules, presentations, videos, and job aids that align with current regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with EHS, Quality and Human Resources to customize training for various roles and regions.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill or knowledge gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Support onboarding of new employees in the indoctrination into the Quality Management System and other regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback surveys, quizzes, and performance metrics, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Support audits and investigations by providing documentation of training completion and compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other Training Specialists regarding curriculum updates, co-facilitation of training courses and identification of supplemental compliance training needs.
  • Develops and trains employees in company policies and practices following manuals, ISO 9001 specifications, and Stellar Energy America standards.
  • Updates and trains Management Team on training initiatives, training programs, and other initiatives as directed by the Training and Development Manager.
  • Observes daily operations in the manufacturing facility to determine the need for new training opportunities.
  • Collects data for, creates, and modifies curriculum for diverse types of audiences and learning delivery methods.
  • Prepares for ISO and other regulatory agency audits.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Location This position will work out of our Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.

Work Environment

This position operates out of a manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require occasional weekend work. Travel Some occasional local day travel may be necessary. Occasional travel to conferences may be required. Required Education and Experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in Compliance (ISO, OSHA or other regulatory)
  • 1+ year of experience in leading and creating training initiatives
  • Experience creating training manuals, online learning modules and course materials.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, occupational safety, industrial engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in training and development roles.
  • Previous certification in OSHA-30 or higher.
