What You’ll Do As a Family Law Paralegal, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our attorneys and serving our clients with professionalism and care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements
  • Managing deadlines, calendars, and case files with precision and attention to detail
  • Coordinating and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts
  • Assisting attorneys in trial preparation, hearings, and mediations
  • Ensuring compliance with court rules, filing procedures, and firm processes
  • Providing compassionate, responsive support to clients facing sensitive and often emotional situations

What We’re Looking For This role requires more than just technical skills — we’re looking for someone who will be a long-term fit with our team:

  • Family Law Experience: Minimum of 3 years working exclusively in family law
  • Work History: Demonstrated stability and reliability (no job hopping or history of termination)
  • Ethics & Professionalism: Strong work ethic, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality
  • Organization & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
  • Independence & Initiative: Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently in a remote environment while staying accountable
