Job Summary As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. You will be knowledgeable in all areas of our Store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. Your duties will include taking orders, coordinating activities in the Store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing consultative skills to understand customer needs and provide solutions
  • Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Manage the production queue and output, ensuring timely completion of customer orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail Store environment
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Stock materials, manage retail supply, and complete assigned tasks based on priority
  • Assist in the training of store team members and follow instructions of supervisors

Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of printing, shipping, and document services
  • Experience with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and order management systems
