Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Virtual Assistant for blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and partners. You will work closely with our Guest Relations and Operations teams to resolve issues, respond to inquiries, and achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status. You will also be responsible for reporting maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams, reporting and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement, and building, managing, and reporting in-house maintenance labor.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to guests and partners via phone, email, and chat

  • Screen potential guests and provide support for guests/resolving guest's issues in Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott
  • Respond to guest inquiries and communicate and escalate issues to Management via Slack
  • Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status
  • Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms
  • Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams
  • Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor
  • Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist the onboard of accounting systems
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field

  • Proficient in Guesty and/or Operto Teams
  • Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates as our brand with our travelers
  • Deep familiarity leveraging ChatGPT
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to speak clearly on the phone and use a VoiP to speak with guests and vendors
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
  • Perfect English and grammar

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the hospitality industry

  • Knowledge of business financials/accounting
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management
  • Availability for part-time overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST

Note

This is a part-time, temp position starting Mid-October for 3 months with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule starting in January 2025. Shift availability must be Thursday & Friday 3pm-11p CST. Please note that there may be additional opportunities for part-time overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST for the right candidates.
