Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch service to our customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and other points of contact. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to our customers' problems. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to their problems

  • Work in a collaborative environment to ensure the success of our organization
  • Handle customer transactions, including processing payments, making change, and balancing daily transactions
  • Review and process baggage and freight claims
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information to customers and other airport guests
  • Manage overbooked flights, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage, and other customer issues
  • Provide current and accurate information to customers, including flight schedules, fares, and other travel-related information
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, learn and understand tagging procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
  • Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises as needed
  • Ability to work under close time deadlines to achieve quick turnarounds of flights
  • Ability to provide a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Service Representative Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to convey information and directions verbally or through radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
