About the Role

As an Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in supporting the H.L. Transportation Fleet and helping us navigate the complexities of transportation logistics. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring that our transportation operations are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness
• Integrating multiple data assets across various database platforms to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements
• Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets to support data analysis and reporting
• Providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive growth

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a logistics or transportation-related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, with experience in database management and data integration
• Strong typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
• Familiarity with SQL and data querying languages
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
