Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our regular customers and visitors
• Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the bakery and customer service area
• Collaborating with our bakery team to ensure that all customer requests are met and exceeded
• Participating in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, including customer feedback and sales data

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school degree or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Previous customer service experience in a retail or food service environment
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
