Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Sales Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving customer issues, and providing expert travel advice to our customers. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every interaction is nothing short of exceptional, and that our customers leave feeling satisfied, informed, and eager to plan their next trip.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming calls from customers, responding to their queries and resolving their issues in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner

  • Provide expert travel advice and guidance to customers, helping them to plan and book their trips
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services, maximizing revenue and driving business growth
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that every interaction is nothing short of exceptional, and that our customers leave feeling satisfied and informed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our customer service and sales processes
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, including sales, customer satisfaction, and quality metrics

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and experience will be considered

  • Minimum six (6) months experience in customer service field; experience in a busy call center or airline/travel environment preferred but not required
  • Valid authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Basic computer skills, including typing 30 wpm or faster
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work any hours and any days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service (90% QA) while demonstrating a friendly and genuine demeanor, ability to listen and to document accordingly

Preferred Qualifications

* Spanish bilingual a plus but not required

  • Experience in a busy call center or airline/travel environment preferred but not required
