As a Virtual Medical Assistant - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Cardiologist/Surgeon's practice, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Virtual Medical Assistant - Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Auditing: With a proven track record in data entry, preferably in a US healthcare setting, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient data into our electronic health record system. You'll also conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Referral Review and Management: You'll review incoming referrals, logging into hospital portals to retrieve patient records, renaming and attaching records as needed. Your attention to detail will ensure that patient information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Double Checking and Verification: You'll double-check incoming referrals to ensure that all necessary information is complete and accurate, verifying patient data to prevent errors.
  • Organizational and Time Management: With excellent organizational skills, you'll manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: You'll work closely with our Cardiologist/Surgeon, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven Experience in Data Entry: A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a US healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Data Entry and Auditing: Familiarity with data entry and auditing processes, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to Work Effectively in a Remote Environment: Experience working remotely, with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Mountain Time Zone Availability: Ability to work effectively in the Mountain Time zone to align with client schedules.
