Job Summary

As a Customer Administrative Specialist, Government (Remote - Midwest), you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Civilian Markets team, including making outbound sales contact, pursuing sales leads, and maintaining customer records. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of blithequark.

Key Responsibilities

* Make outbound sales contact with customers and prospects to promote blithequark's products and services

  • Pursue sales leads and develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including sales history and contact information
  • Provide administrative support to the Civilian Markets team, including data entry, reporting, and other tasks as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales and business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure knowledge and expertise

Requirements

* Basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management

  • Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to work
  • Proficiency in use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
  • Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear
  • Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field

  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the government sector or with government customers

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
  • Certification in sales or account management (e.g. Certified Sales Professional (CSP))
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
