As a CSM, you'll play a vital role in achieving this vision by owning and executing the sales strategy for Kraft Heinz categories in the Northeast Region.

About the Role

As a Customer Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving gross margin, and increasing market share for Kraft Heinz categories in the Northeast Region. You'll partner closely with customers to understand their business needs, develop and execute sales plans, and deliver coordinated cross-functional sales value to drive business growth. Your expertise in category management, sales strategy, and customer relationship building will be essential in achieving revenue and share objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Effectively partner with customers to build rapport, understand their business needs, and drive positive business growth

  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving
  • Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects to optimize shelf space and drive sales growth
  • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period, and Selling Event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
  • Work with the Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives
  • Maintain accurate files and business documentation to detail business transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans that drive business growth

Expected Experience & Required Skills

* Proven experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company

  • Tested ability to own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position where you owned a desk of at least $18 million of business
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and be proficient in blithequark systems and different customer portals
  • Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
  • Trusted to work autonomously within a Customer Business Team (CBT) framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities
  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as IRI, SAP, etc.
  • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; ability to use syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influencing customers to achieve category objectives

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Field-based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

* Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed

  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule
  • Set up Food shows
