Job Overview

The Remote Data Entry Operator will play a critical role in supporting the Customer Service Division of Business Operations at blithequark. Under general supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for entering information with a high degree of speed and accuracy, inputting large amounts of data into our customer information system and other software. This position requires good judgment, independent thinking, and personal initiative, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals who are self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain utility accounts with accuracy and efficiency
  • Verify account eligibility and accessibility to ensure compliance with our policies
  • Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Scan or retain documents as required, following our data management protocols
  • Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify areas for improvement
  • Enter data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to support our business operations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Licenses or Certifications: None specified
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Education: Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
