Your expertise will help us deliver strategic consulting, design, advisory services, market research, and contact center analytics that drive insights and value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Engineer (SQL Server and Data Platform) at blithequark, you will design, optimize, and support modern database solutions, emphasizing high availability, performance tuning, and leading cloud migrations to Azure. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and optimizing SQL Server platforms, focusing on performance, high availability, and failover clustering
- Leading migrations of on-premises databases to Azure and other cloud platforms
- Architecting disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always On availability groups, and Azure services
- Performing query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise-level systems
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 4 to 8 years of experience with SQL Server (2012+), Azure SQL, and data warehousing
- Expertise in high availability, clustering, and cloud-based database solutions
- Experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and IaaS
- Strong skills in database performance tuning and query optimization
- Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly valued:
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
- Knowledge of cloud-based security and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Certification in SQL Server, Azure, or related technologies

Compensation and Perks
The on-target earnings range for this role is $91,457- $137,186, which includes a base salary and incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
