As a Hygiene Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, delivering outstanding patient experiences, and supporting our dental hygiene team. As a Hygiene Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, setting the tone for their visit and ensuring that they feel valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly upon arrival, directing them to the appropriate areas and ensuring a seamless check-in process. Manage incoming phone calls, screening and forwarding them as necessary, and providing clear and accurate information to patients and callers. Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring that all necessary materials and stationery are readily available. Provide basic and accurate information to patients in-person, via phone, and through email, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Support the dental hygiene team and other staff members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Hygiene Coordinator in our office, you will need: At least one year of previous experience working in a dental office, with a strong understanding of dental practices and patient care. Experience utilizing a dental or healthcare practice management system, with EagleSoft experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records. Excellent phone etiquette, with a professional and friendly demeanor that makes patients feel at ease. An outgoing and positive attitude, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly valued: Previous experience in a dental office with a similar size and structure. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
