The Senior Nursing Educator work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesRole ResponsibilitiesDevelops educational goals and plans for new associate orientation, ongoing training, and professional development.Training programs may include but not be limited to Care Mgmt, UM, and/or complianceBegins to influence dept strategyMakes decisions on mod complex to complex issuesWork is performed without directionSupervision of other facilitatorsDecision making around schedule, plans, and daily operations of the other trainersEnsures consistency in execution across teamRequired QualificationsUnrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state of KY with no restrictions2 years Case/Care management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Publisher, VisioExperience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.Prior work experience with designing training, learning modules and/or materials to increase content conceptualization.Adept in using technology and facilitation techniques to influence the content knowledge and development of learners through virtual settings.Must reside in Kentucky, Ohio or Indiana and report to the Louisville, KY office as needed for meetings/trainingsFor this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
