Job Summary
The Senior Learning Data Analyst will be responsible for developing data-driven insights that inform business decisions and drive growth. This role will involve working closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in data analysis, visualization, and presentation, as well as a strong understanding of business operations and analytics.
Responsibilities
* Develop data-driven insights that inform business decisions and drive growth
- Work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable recommendations
- Apply advanced data analysis and visualization techniques to identify trends and patterns in data
- Develop and maintain complex data models and databases to support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for change
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations
- Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to resolve complex data issues and share expertise on tools and techniques
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Advanced experience in data analysis, visualization, and presentation
- Strong understanding of business operations and analytics
- Ability to apply advanced data analysis and visualization techniques to identify trends and patterns in data
- Ability to develop and maintain complex data models and databases to support business operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of company policies and expectations of SWA Culture
Education
* High School Diploma or GED required
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred
Experience
* Advanced stage experience in data analysis, visualization, and presentation
- Strong experience in acquiring data using various tools, including SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlikm, Attunity, or other comparable toolsets
- Visualization and presentation experience
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Visual Basic)
- Working experience in Air Operations education and Advance Qualification Program (AQP)
