Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Program Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support and general assistance to designated program departments, including managing calendars, processing check requests, and preparing expense reports.
- Assisting in managing grants and utilizing our Grants Management Software effectively to ensure seamless project execution.
- Filling in for staff on vacation or leave, managing calendars, processing check requests, and preparing expense reports.
- Maintaining donor management databases for our Strategic Initiative departments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Coordinating logistics for lay committee meetings and events, including food ordering and setup.
- Collaborating with program staff on various departmental projects, providing exceptional support and ensuring timely completion.
- Exhibiting flexibility and adaptability to support different departments and engage in various tasks, including managing the main line during designated periods.
- Participating in events and meetings beyond normal working hours, demonstrating a commitment to the organization's success.
Additional Responsibilities
As a Remote Program Assistant, you will be expected to:

Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and familiarity with database systems.

- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of Jewish life and the Los Angeles Jewish Community is an asset.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of relevant administrative or related experience, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment.
- Proven capability to work effectively under pressure and handle competing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $47,321 to $69,463 (Union Grade Range), with a budgeted salary between $51,000 and $53,000. As a full-time, non-exempt position, you will enjoy a hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance on designated workdays.
