Role Breakdown

As a Remote Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in our telehealth services team, providing high-touch support to patients with complex medication needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • MTM Services: Counseling patients on the importance of medication adherence, providing medication education, and connecting them with community-based resources as needed.
  • Program Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of each service provided to patients, including patient signatures or electronic verification of services received.
  • Patient Coordination: Coordinating day/time for MTM-related services, coordinating patient signatures, and communicating with in-store pharmacy staff about patient-related topics.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Licensure: A valid Missouri pharmacist license.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on medication therapy management (MTM) and patient education.
  • Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be viewed favorably:

  • Certification: Board certification in pharmacotherapy or a related field.
  • Experience with Telehealth: Previous experience with telehealth services or remote patient care.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
