Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Manor, TX. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll need:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A background check (we'll cover the cost of this)
• A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices and classroom management strategies
• Familiarity with special education principles and practices, including IEPs and 504 plans
• Experience with online learning platforms and educational technologies

Compensation and Benefits

As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll enjoy a competitive salary package, including:

• Up to $176 per day for day-to-day assignments, with higher rates for long-term assignments
• Weekly pay, with no fussing with taxes (you'll be a W-2 employee)
