Responsibilities
As a Hardware Engineering Intern, you'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating with engineers to design, develop, and test AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products
- Building applications for external and internal use, as well as large-scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD's Hardware organization
- Developing and implementing digital signal processing algorithms and advanced communications standards
- Designing and verifying digital logic circuits using HDL (Verilog) and high-level language programming (Python, Java, C, etc.)
- Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK, as well as 3rd party logic simulators
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be currently enrolled in a UK-based university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- To have knowledge or experience with digital signal processing algorithms and advanced communications standards
- To have experience with digital logic design, RTL coding, and verification
- To have proficiency in high-level language programming (Python, Java, C, etc.) or HDL (Verilog)
- To have familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK, as well as 3rd party logic simulators
