Key Responsibilities
As a Virtual Cruise Advisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Corresponding with potential clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget requirements
- Tailoring marketing materials to appeal to clients via social media platforms, bulletin boards, and flyers
- Advising clients on travel destinations based on weather, culture, excursions/activities, and visa requirements
- Booking travel appointments, collecting fees and associated dues, and obtaining required documentation from clients
- Maintaining professional relationships with travel suppliers, clients, and trip operators
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Virtual Cruise Advisor, you'll need:
- Proficiency in English, with knowledge of additional languages an advantage
- Strong experience and understanding of all social media platforms, as well as Zoom and Google Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and interact effectively with colleagues
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize diverse computer software programs
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working as a travel agent
- Laptop/Smartphone & Internet Access
