Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Coach/Teacher to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. As a Swim Coach/Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing our proven Aqua-Tots curriculum in each lesson, providing children with quality swim instruction that will enable them to live a lifetime of safety in and around the water. You will also uphold our Aqua-Tots Core Values in every interaction, whether with children, parents, or staff members.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Teach children swim lessons every 30 minutes, using our proven Aqua-Tots curriculum

  • Engage with children and families in the joy of learning and swimming, creating a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Smile and have fun, making every lesson a memorable and enjoyable experience for our students
  • Answer questions and provide feedback to children and parents, ensuring they feel heard and valued
  • Abide by our Aqua-Tots Core Values, treating others with respect, kindness, and compassion
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team environment

Essential Qualifications

* Passion for teaching children and helping others learn and grow

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and families of all ages and backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude
  • Basic swimming skills and experience working with children, or a willingness to learn and develop these skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard, with a proven track record of teaching children and adults

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid, or a willingness to obtain these certifications
  • Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude
  • Basic swimming skills and experience working with children, or a willingness to learn and develop these skills
