Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Currently, we are seeking for a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join one of our clients' projects(USA), focusing on developing solutions to facilitate rapid scalability in solar energy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy, manage, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, and security systems.
• Configure and optimize servers, switches, routers, and other network hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and availability to ensure the highest levels of uptime and system reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Azure technologies, networking and Microsoft EntraID
• Develop and maintain procedures for system backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades.
• Manage and support virtualization environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix.
• Work closely with development and support teams to ensure that system changes are implemented correctly.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate problems as necessary.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.

• Strong experience in deploying and managing Windows and Linux servers.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining security systems, such as Palo Alto firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
