As a Product Principal at blithequark, you will play a critical role in shaping our product strategy and driving business growth.

Job Summary

As an Experienced Product Principal - Customer Experience, you will be responsible for connecting strategies and defining scope across multiple product teams and domains. You will work closely with Product Directors and cross-functional program leaders to drive the delivery of business value and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. This is a remote opportunity that requires occasional travel (5% to 20% of the time).

Key Responsibilities

As a Product Principal at blithequark, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

Delivery and Execution (10%):

Coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure a clear path to scope is known and aligned. Review recommended solutions and work of product teams to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.

Strategy and Planning (60%):

Partner with cross-functional programs or technology portfolios to align outcomes. Cascade context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs. Lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers, and balanced teams. Create, coordinate, and sequence activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams. Provide visibility of work by providing a holistic roadmap with dependencies.

Team and Stakeholder (30%):

Partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. Foster collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments. Manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns to product strategy and provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience.

This position typically reports to a Director and has 0 direct reports.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel (5% to 20% of the time) may be required for this role.

Physical Requirements

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor area, with occasional travel to other locations.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience.

* The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
