Job Summary

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. You'll work with patients, providers, and payers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide support. Your passion for helping others, strong product and brand knowledge, and excellent communication skills will enable you to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide answers to patients' questions regarding general healthcare benefits and eligibility
  • Conduct research and make outbound calls to resolve patient inquiries
  • Assist patients with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account
  • Locate doctor and facility information for patients
  • Recommend upgrades to health plans based on patient needs
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

What You Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 6 months or more of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience and high-speed internet (> 15 mbps)
  • USB wired headset or compatible device
  • Smartphone or another device that runs iOS or Android (iPad, etc.)
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of healthcare benefits and eligibility
  • Experience with online health accounts and patient portals
