Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, helping them plan and book their dream vacations, and ensuring that every interaction is a positive and memorable experience. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, provide travel recommendations, and process bookings with ease. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to customers via phone, email, and chat, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist customers in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and activities
  • Process bookings and make travel arrangements with ease, using our industry-leading technology and tools
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that every interaction is a positive and memorable experience
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and travel regulations to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
  • Work closely with our sales team to upsell and cross-sell travel products and services to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in the travel industry

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. hospitality, tourism, business) preferred

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment; experience in the travel industry a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups
  • Proficient in using technology, including CRM software, email, and chat platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the travel industry, including knowledge of travel regulations, industry trends, and product knowledge

  • Certification in a related field (e.g. IATA, CLIA) a plus
  • Proficiency in multiple languages a plus
  • Experience with social media platforms and online marketing a plus
