Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying business and technical requirements, leading full technical discovery, and designing client solutions to meet their needs
  • Leading technical projects, providing technology support, and coordinating the integration of supporting technical assets
  • Developing and delivering product messaging for the blithequark Cloud Platform through whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
  • Driving recommendations on integration strategies, project designs, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a comprehensive solution that provides best-practice counsel to clients to enhance the effectiveness of the blithequark Cloud Platform
  • Attending client sites, meetings, and other events as required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role
  • Experience with inheritance and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking
  • Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Dynamic US Government Top Secret/Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Exceptional status
  • Experience designing and implementing mobile applications using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration frameworks, or other relevant technologies
  • Experience working with government public sector clients, including defense and civilian agencies
  • Knowledge of application security frameworks, including web application security, service boundary, and mobile security techniques
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the blithequark Cloud/IT innovation space
