We are actively seeking strong floor Waiters/Waitress's to join our elite teams at Bridge 26 & Velvet Room in Northampton!

We are looking for confident, passionate individuals to join us in our 2 unique style venues. Individuals that can deliver a consistent high level of service to our guests and strive to create memorable experiences.

Applicants must be hardworking, friendly, outgoing, reliable and be able to demonstrate confidence and common sense in a high pressure environment's.

* Applicants must be available all day Saturdays (and some Friday evenings) as a minimum, and also be available Halloween weekend and throughout the Christmas Period *

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Perform basic maths calculations for order totals and processing payments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
• A passion for culinary arts and enhancing the dining experience for guests.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
