Job Summary

As a part-time, remote Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community rules and guidelines. This is a flexible position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate the official Discord server, deleting messages that violate community rules and guidelines.
• Ban users who repeatedly violate community rules and guidelines.
• Mute users who have temporarily violated community rules and guidelines.
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to community members.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and fairness in moderation practices.

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Have a strong understanding of community rules and guidelines.
• Be able to make fair and impartial decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in community management or moderation.
