About Our Team and the Role

We're a crew of entrepreneurial disruptors with a super fintech engineering lifestyle at the leading edge of innovation inside the industry. We're building smart price routing decision engines, an ISO20022 framework, AI/ML-driven data pipelines, and fluid integrators with global payment infrastructure and the banking machine. As a Backend Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on project-critical customer trips, including "Pay Your Amex Invoice," "Plan Your Payment," and "Get a Loan." Our aim is to decouple our belongings, which include our ACH engine and bank validation, and make it smooth for others in the enterprise to build international-class customer stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Build software program as part of a nimble Agile crew where you have every possibility to make an impact on the bottom line and contribute to the structure.
• Collaborate with our product group to ensure work getting into the Scrum Team is properly subtle and understood by the engineers.
• Ensure our infrastructure is well extensible, scalable, reliable, and meets SLAs for both external and internal users.
• Guide less experienced engineers with their software improvement work.
• Create a logo for our platform composed of high-quality APIs, developer portal, tutorials, and SDKs.
• Make sure our answers are testable, intuitive, and smooth to maintain.
• Use state-of-the-art tools for far-off collaboration and developer happiness, i.e., IntelliJ CodeWithMe and Tuple.
• Take part in design and code critiques for key additives and go company tasks.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

• Experience in backend reactive programming languages: Java 17+ and/or Kotlin.
• Verified track record growing lightweight reactive microservices: Vert.X, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Spring Boot.
• Experience of working with stakeholders and product proprietors to refine upcoming epics.
• Deep know-how of event-driven architecture and messaging: Kafka, Webhooks, asynchronous API design.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or equal relational databases.
• Have experience operating as an individual contributor as part of a cross-functional Agile team.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience in fintech is a big plus.
• Have demonstrated experience in assisting mission-critical platforms with high levels of availability and carrier continuity.
• Have solid experience in cloud-based structure and allotted systems.
• Have extraordinary written and communique abilities and can express dissenting reviews in a positive manner.
• Self-directed and capable of working in an ambiguous surroundings thru the innovation procedure.
• Care approximately mastering and being open-minded about switching techniques and experimenting.
• Cost collaboration and placed the crew pastimes usually above self.
