Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Resolving customer service or billing complaints: You'll work with clients to resolve issues, exchange merchandise, refund money, and adjust bills as needed.
  • Responding to customer inquiries: You'll contact clients to respond to inquiries, notify them of claim investigation results, and provide updates on planned adjustments.
  • Escalating unresolved issues: You'll refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation and resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records: You'll keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and actions taken, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Building strong business relationships: You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through established service and sales standards, driving business growth and loyalty.
  • Staying up-to-date on company products and services: You'll maintain a basic knowledge of current company products and services, ensuring that you can provide accurate information and support to clients.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.

  • Customer service experience: You'll need at least 0-2 years of customer service-related experience, with a strong focus on resolving issues and building relationships.
  • Computer skills: You'll need to be proficient in computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software.
  • Communication skills: You'll need excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role: If you have previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in a healthcare or medical billing setting, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Knowledge of medical billing and collections: If you have experience with medical billing, collections, or patient accounts, you'll be well-suited to this role.
