SAP BW/HANA SME Role Description

Experience in SAP BW on HANA and BW/4 HANA backend data modeling and development.

Experience with BW/4 HANA migration using Remote Conversion approach is desired.

You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for team decisions, collaborating with multiple teams, and contributing to key decisions. Key duties include:

• Navigating the BW/4 HANA Conversion steps and Conversion Cockpit
• Identifying the Scope for Conversion
• Resolving issues and providing solutions to overcome the issues during scope conversion
• Perform Code remediations post conversions on objects not supported by the BW/4 HANA Conversion tool
• Development and Remediation of Calculation Views, BW Queries
• Familiarity with Eclipse Development Tool
• Plan for the migration lifecycle in DEV, TEST and Cutover to PROD
• Designing and developing SAP BW on HANA and BW/4HANA data models to meet business requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with other IT components.
• Providing expert technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conducting rigorous system testing and troubleshooting to optimize solution performance.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation for effective knowledge transfer and support.
• Delivering scalable solutions for large data volumes and complex reporting needs.
• Utilizing advanced SQL expertise in data analysis.
